Hawkeye Breeders offers Internet based advertisements of customers' sires. These ads may contain pictures, information, EPD's, contact information, and other information the owners might wish to display. The introductory cost for these services will be $70 per six month period for text and graphic ads and $30 per six month period for text-only ads.  We are also able to link a website to ours for $20 per six month period!

Hawkeye Breeders is officially approved for the world market, including Australia, New Zealand, the European Community (EC), and many other countries. This is helpful for the American seed stock producer wanting new markets for their top herd sires. Each year we have visitors from 30 to 40 different countries viewing sires in residence.

Charges for domestic semen in all countries including Australia and the EC market are $1.75 per frozen unit with collecting done twice a week. If you are housing the bull only to meet quarantine requirements or after having reached your desired quota, the housing charges are $52.50 per week per sire. During the time a sire is being collected there are no boarding charges if the sire is freezing. The only additional cost would be for any vet charges. Vet charges are not included in this price.

We pride ourselves on prompt shipping; most domestic shipments are actually made on the same day as the order is received, except during the spring peak season.

Since we do have a veterinarian at the stud at least two days a week, and a herdsmen who lives on the farm, you can be assured of good care for your animal. We also are located 45 miles away from Iowa State University's excellent College of Veterinary Medicine with their world class staff and facilities. We welcome visitors year around.
