Going into a rapidly changing and very exciting future for reproduction options in the cattle industry, the new generation of Hawkeye Breeders is making sure everything possible is being done to assure the best possible AI results with the use of our semen.

The Hawkeye complex, pictured left, includes 8 covered barns along with a main headquarter lab and office. Our facility is located in the heart of Iowa and offers convenient and comfortable care for your most valuable animals.

mobile lab

Hawkeye currently uses two mobile labs that allow us to do on-farm fertility testing and semen collection. These services are available for those clients located within a 300-mile radius of our headquarters in Adel, Iowa. This includes most all clients in Iowa, as well as some locations along the Iowa border in surrounding states of Minnesota, Nebraska, South Dakota, Illinois, and Missouri.

State of the art lab

Our state of the art lab uses the latest equipment for processing and evaluation from IMV, and our post collection evaluation includes industry standard stress testing and multiple straw evaluations to make sure that bull owners and their customers have the best possible results.

In 2009, we purchased new spectrophotometers, microscopes, electro ejaculators, and straw printers, and our employees have had instruction and real world experience using them to assure a consistent product.
